On the morning of Thursday, 18th April 2019, a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed by Gwent Police at an address in Pontllanfraith, Blackwood.
A 14 year old boy from the area was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A controlled drugs.
Following investigations, he has today (Friday, 19th April 2019) been bailed and released from custody, as we seek charging advice from the Crown Prosecution Service.
Caerphilly Superintendent Nick McLain said: "Again, I would like to thank all members of the community for their continued support during this tragic time. The information received from the public has been a vital part of the investigation.
"I would like to ask the community to support our ongoing work, and refrain from posting any comments on social media that may jeopardise the investigation."
