Would you like to have your say on how we, as a community, can achieve a Zero Carbon Caerphilly?
Earlier this year, Caerphilly County Borough Council joined the growing campaign to become carbon neutral by 2030. But we need your help!
The Council will be holding a special community event on Wednesday 2nd October between 6pm and 8pm at its headquarters Penallta House, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7PG.
The session will be to seek views, explore ideas and identify how to can work together as a community to achieve a Zero Carbon Caerphilly. If you’re a local resident, member of a local group or from a local business, this event will offer you the opportunity to help shape the council’s developing Energy Plan, which will set out how it will become carbon neutral by 2030.
As well as finding out more about what the Council has done to date and about some of the things we have planned for the future, it’s also a real chance for you to give your views and ideas, and let us know how the community may be able to play their part.
Penallta House is easily accessible, and has excellent public transport links. Bus timetables can be found here: www.caerphilly.gov.uk/Services/Transport-and-parking/Bus-timetables and train timetables here: https://tfwrail.wales/check-train-times-buy-tickets
