Saturday 20th October is the beginning of the World Shore Angling Championships and sees Conwy as host county welcome the competing nations to the week-long event.
The Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers and Conwy County Borough Council welcome the world’s top shore anglers to Conwy County for the 35th World Championship for Men and the 26th World Championship for Ladies.
Join us in Conwy town at 5:30pm, Saturday 20 October to welcome 20 countries who as part of the Championships Opening Ceremony will be part of a spectacular Medieval themed torch-lit parade.
The medieval style performers dotted around the town are sure to entertain all ages, knights on horseback, fire-eaters, acrobats, sword-fighters, and jesters!
