Sandbags Advice From Council

Sandbags Advice From Council

Sunday 21st Oct 2018

Pembrokeshire residents are being reminded that the County Council does not supply sandbags to domestic properties during heavy rainfall and flooding.

Council workers are set to be stretched to the limit today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) keeping roads across the County clear of fallen trees, leaves and other debris.

Sandbags will be issued on a priority basis to support the emergency services, first and foremost to save and protect lives and reduce harm.

Residents concerned about the flooding of their property are able to purchase their own sandbags from local building suppliers.
