Made In Roath Launch Their Annual Art Festival
Made in Roath is launching their annual festival at 28 the Parade in Roath tomorrow, which will run until October 28 – courtesy of a short term lease provided by the City of Cardiff Council.
The innovative art festival will involve a range of exhibitions, including photography, music, interactive art, conversations and activities inspired by amateur and professional artists.
The festivities range from a multimedia exhibition exploring how an everyday object like a pillow can be translated from an artist perspective – to cutting edge live music backed by stunning lighting and visuals.
Councillor Peter Bradbury: Cabinet Member for Community Development, Co-Operatives and Social Enterprise, said “I am pleased that in this instance that we have been able to facilitate this event for Made in Roath. The exhibitions and activities sound very diverse and interesting and I hope that many people will visit and enjoy everything that they have to offer.”
