UPDATE: A Newport Man Has Been Ordered To Pay A Victim Of Car Crime Over £2000

Last month we told you a 42 year old man from Newport was arrested and charged with theft from a vehicle in Caerleon. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The offender stole over £2000 worth of cash and belongings from a car. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He has since appeared in court where he pleaded guilty and has been ordered to pay back the £2300 to the victim. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He has also been given a 3 month curfew and has been place on electronic monitoring. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
