Following on from the success of the Three Welsh Tenor concerts held at Theatr Felinfach last year, the venue is proud to present another sublime evening of music and song in the company of Trio and Piantel on Saturday 16 April 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Trio is a male vocal group from Snowdonia, north Wales, and was formed by renowned pianist / accompanist Annette Bryn Parri in December 2012. The group gave its first public performance at Galeri Caernarfon in June 2013. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

A number of concerts followed in 2013 and 2014, and they saw the release of their first CD in August 2014. Emyr Wyn Gibson (tenor) is a professional actor, while Bedwyr Gwyn Parri (baritone) works at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. Steffan Lloyd Owen (bass) is currently a vocal studies student at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester. Trio will release their second CD (SAIN label) later this year. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Piantel consists of two instrumentalists that have made a name for themselves, one as a harpist, Dylan Cernyw, and the other as a pianist, Annette Bryn Parri. In 2005, both Dylan and Annette decided to join forces and formed Piantel and they celebrated their 10th anniversary as a duet last year. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Both are well known throughout the country due to their performances and unique styles. They have also performed alongside some of Wales’ most celebrated artists; Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins, Hayley Westenra, Rhys Meirion, Shân Cothi, Gwyn Hughes Jones – to name just a few. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Piantel and Trio will perform at Theatr Felinfach on Saturday 16 April 2016 at 7:30pm. To book your tickets please call the Box Office 01570 470697 or go online www.theatrfelinfach.wales or visit Facebook /TheatrFelinfach or Twitter @TheatrFelinfach ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
