The National Assembly for Wales elections took place on Thursday 5 May 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Welsh Liberal Democrats’ Kirsty Williams retained her seat in Brecon and Radnorshire with 15,898 votes, a majority of 8,170 over Welsh Conservative candidate Gary Price. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

While in Montgomeryshire, Welsh Conservative’s Russell George retained his seat with 9,875 votes, a majority of 3,339 over Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate Jane Dodds ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Brecon and Radnorshire constituency ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Grenville Morgan Ham, Plaid Werdd Cymru / Wales Green Party – 697
