Special Meeting Of Powys County Council
A special meeting of Powys County Council to consider secondary and primary school plans for mid and south Powys will be webcast live from County Hall Llandrindod Wells on Thursday (September 8) from 10.30am.
The meeting will debate recommendations to be considered by the cabinet on proposals affecting Builth Wells and Llandrindod high schools; Brecon and Gwernyfed high schools and Llanbister and Llanfihangel Rhydithon primary schools.
Decision on the proposals will be taken by the cabinet at a meeting on Tuesday September 27.
The webcast can be viewed from 10.30am on Thursday by going to the council’s webcast portal at www.powys.gov.uk on an internet device with Flash or Silverlight software installed. The webcast will also be made available in the webcast archive afterwards.

Admittance to the council meeting is by ticket only, available on the day on a first-come-first-serve basis. Parking at County Hall is limited and visitors are being advised to use the town’s public car parks.
