Landlords Invited To Forum Meeting
A number of important topics which will have a significant impact on the private rented sector will up for discussion at the next Anglesey Landlord Forum.
Anglesey’s annual Landlord Forum will be held at Llangefni Town Hall, Bulkeley Square, Llangefni, LL77 7LR at 1.00pm on Friday, 21st October, 2016.
Topics up for debate will include: an update on the Rent Smart Wales scheme requiring all landlords to register and if necessary licence with Rent Smart Wales; an update on the Energy Island Programme; a talk about Modern Day Slavery; and updates on Tax Changes, Mortgage Interest Relief and Stamp Duty in Wales.
Environmental Health Officer Trystan Owen explained, “The Landlord Forum demonstrates the partnership between Isle of Anglesey County Council and local landlords in order to meet challenges arising within the private housing sector.”
“This annual event also heralds our continuing commitment to help landlords meet the demands of the unique housing challenges faced by the Island over the coming years.”
Once again, there will be an opportunity for landlords to network with other landlords, agencies and exhibitors. A range of representatives will be on hand to answer any queries, including an opportunity to ask questions at the end of each topic.
To book your place, please email GwenSmith@anglesey.gov.uk or telephone (01248 752870) as soon as possible.
