Population Needs Assessment – Help Us Plan A Better Future
In order to support future planning of services, Anglesey County Council and the Local Health Board have launched a questionnaire to help identify the care and support needs of the people of Anglesey.
Our aim is to help people live the life they choose and stay independent for longer.
Anglesey’s Social Services Integration and Engagement Manager, Margaret Peters said, “As part of the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014, we must be able to provide care and support to the individual’s personal needs. The Act also ensures that carers are treated on the same basis.”
As part of this assessment we must understand:
1. The current care and support needs of the people of Anglesey
2. The future care and support needs of the people of Anglesey
3. What people feel could prevent care and/or support needs developing
Margaret added, “By taking part in this assessment, the people of Anglesey will help shape the future of care services, enabling us to plan and invest effectively.”
To have your say and shape the future for the people of Anglesey please visit the Council website and complete a questionnaire by the 30th of July, 2016:
