Caravan park owners are encouraged to sign up for a new conference with Denbighshire County Council
Denbighshire Council is hosting a conference for holiday caravan site owners to help them understand the regulations around caravan occupation.
The conference at the Nova Prestatyn on March 17, is designed to ensure that caravan park owners understand the planning, trading standards and licensing laws around caravans and make sure they understand the problems around unauthorised residential occupation.
The Council’s aim is to provide useful information and business support to site owners as part of their Better Business For All Project.
Research has shown that the vast majority of holiday caravan parks are well run and do not allow unauthorised residential occupation to take place. The Council wish to promote the important role holiday caravan sites have on the local economy and seek to work in partnership with site owners to create an even better holiday experience for our visitors.
Caravan Park owners are being invited to sign up for the conference which is being hosted jointly by Denbighshire County Council and the British Holiday and Home Park Association (BHHPA) with Paul Kelly from Tozers Solicitors presenting a talk on how to sell a holiday home.
The Council are keen to promote best practice in the industry and hope this event will be the start of more events aimed at assisting businesses and promoting what the County has to offer.
Places are limited to two persons per caravan site. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. To register for this event please e-mail planning@denbighshire.gov.uk or telephone 01824 706727.
Simultaneous translation facilities will be available.
