New Domino’s branch could open in North Wales shopping park if planning permission granted

A new branch of Domino’s could open at a shopping park in North Wales if planning permission is granted.
Applicant Talib Al-Kadhimi has applied to Denbighshire County Council’s planning department seeking permission for a sign at Unit 3, Denbigh Shopping Park, on Station Road.
The applicant wants to install one internally illuminated fascia sign and one LED digital display screen.
The submitted plans, though, clearly show the famous Domino’s sign.
The plans state that the fascia sign will be “manufactured in accordance with the latest Domino’s UK signage manual”.
The chain opened their first Domino’s store in Luton in 1985 and run 1,200 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland and claim to sell 114 million pizzas a year.
The company has similar stores at Bangor, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Mold, Queensferry, Flint, and Wrexham.
The plans are registered with Denbighshire’s planning department and will likely be debated by councillors at a future Denbighshire County Council planning committee meeting.
