Notice of By-Election – Plastirion Ward

The Returning Officer at Denbighshire County Council is informing people of a by-election that will take place for a vacant seat to represent the Plastirion Ward on Rhyl Town Council following the resignation of Councillor James May. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The by-election will take place on Thursday 17 March 2016 and if the election is contested, the polling station will be located at the Community Rooms, Maes Emlyn. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Any person wishing to stand as a candidate at this election should contact the Returning Officer for further information on 01824 706114 to request nomination papers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Prospective candidates should submit their completed nomination papers to the Returning Officer, Room 235, County Hall, Ruthin, LL15 1YN no later than 4pm on Friday 19 February 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
