An exciting networking opportunity for Denbighshire businesses is due to be held in St Asaph in March.
A ‘Business Breakfast’ has been organised by Denbighshire Council’s Economic and Business Development team as a networking opportunity for those interested in HR and employment with a focus on recruitment and staffing.
The aim of the morning, which is part of Denbighshire Council’s March for Business series of events, is to highlight the range of support and advice available in employment and HR after it was raised as an area of support businesses wanted from the 2015 business survey.
Advice will be available on matters such as hiring an apprentice and guidance on how to employ someone if you are a sole trader.
Key speakers will include Jobs Growth Wales, Busnes@Llandrillo Menai, Careers Wales, Job Centre Plus and Business Wales.
The speakers will give 3-5 minute elevator pitches, which are a quick guide to what their areas of expertise are, to ensure that maximum time is given to networking and question and answer sessions.
Carolyn Brindle, Denbighshire Council’s Lead Officer for Business Support and Local Growth said: ‘We are here to provide the support to local businesses that they want. Often the most helpful opportunity for a small business is one where businesses can learn from each other and so networking opportunities are vital.
‘We encourage any local business to sign up and use the event to get the advice and information that could potentially help grow their business’.
