Gwynedd Council’s Campaign To Encourage People To Shop Locally This Christmas
As part of Gwynedd Council’s campaign to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas, parking will be free in all Council pay and display car parks on the first two weekends of December and from 15 to 27 December.
The Council also manages some privately owned car parks in the county. Having consulted with the car park owners concerned, the owner of the Ffordd y Felin car park in Caernarfon has instructed the Council that they wish to continue to charge for parking over the festive period. Motorists will therefore need to purchase and display valid parking tickets in this private car park.
Signs will be in place at the Ffordd y Felin car park to explain the situation to motorists.
