Have Your Say In Gwynedd’s Summer Survey
How do you feel about your area as a place to live? To what extent does Gwynedd Council meet your needs? And do you get an opportunity to influence the Council’s work?
These are just some of the questions that Gwynedd Council is currently asking the county’s residents in a special survey that can be filled online, or on paper copies that are available in libraries and at Siop Gwynedd in Caernarfon, Dolgellau and Pwllheli.
As well as more general questions, there are also specific questions on how to tackle people dropping litter in the street or failing to clean up after their dogs, and invites views on using a commercial company to do the enforcement work.
Gwynedd Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Dyfrig Siencyn said: “The views of the people of Gwynedd are vitally important for us as a Council in all aspects of our work.
“Surveys like these enable us to keep in close contact with the public to ensure that our priorities as a Council reflect what is important for our electors and ratepayers.
“Our aim at all times is to deliver the best possible services within the severe financial constraints forced upon us, whilst continually seeking ways to improve.
“The responses to these questionnaires will be of great help in that work as we plan for the future.”
A section of the questionnaire deals specifically with the Council’s website and its use of social media for communication.
Councillor Siencyn added: “The replies to these questions will help us see how effective we are at communicating with the public, and will inform the further development of our website and social media.”
The questionnaire is available to complete online at: www.gwynedd.llyw.cymru/SummerSurvey and paper copies are available at your local library or any one of the Council’s three Siop Gwynedd offices:
- Council Headquarters, Castle Street, Caernarfon
- Council Offices, Cae Penarlag, Dolgellau
- Council Offices, Ffordd y Cob, Pwllheli.
