Interested In A Career In Social Care In Gwynedd?
Are you interested in a career in social care? If so, Gwynedd’s recruiting social care information sessions will be of interest to you.
The two-hour sessions will be held at every Job Centre Plus across Gwynedd. Many employers will be present so there will be an opportunity for individuals to discuss different options and paths to a possible career in social care.
There will be an opportunity for employers to show and discuss the advantages of a position within social care including the commitment of employers to provide training that could lead towards a national recognised qualification.
Councillor Gareth Roberts, Gwynedd Council Cabinet Member for Adults Social Services and Health said:
“This is an exciting period to join the sector as the Social Care Act and Wales Well Being steers the sector into a direction which puts the person who needs support central to their services.
“We hope people with an interest in beginning start a career in social care field, will take advantage of these sessions to receive more information and take one step closer towards a career in contributing to support people to live a full life with support.”

- 07/02/17. 13:30-15:30. Job Centre Plus Bangor.
- 08/02/17. 13:30-15:30. Job Centre Plus Caernarfon.
- 09/02/17. 10.00 – 12.00. Job Centre Plus Porthmadog.
- 09/02/17. 13:30-15:30. Job Centre Plus Pwllheli.
- 10/02/17. 10:00-12:00. Job Centre Plus Dolgellau.
