Lecture At Lloyd George Museum- ‘Lloyd George Knew My Father- And My Grandfather’
A lecture by Phillip George that will be held at the Lloyd George Museum, Llanystumdwy on Friday, September 23, 7:30pm will discuss the early career of the man who would go on to become Britain’s Prime Minister almost a century ago.
The lecture that will be given in English will discuss the support and sacrifice of Phillip George’s grandfather to enable David Lloyd George to follow his political career that would eventually lead on Downing Street.
Phillip George’s grandfather was Lloyd George’s brother, and the lecture will concentrate on the beginning of their careers as well as the relationship between them.
The cost of entry is £5 but will be free for the Friends of the Museum.
