Youth Service Consultation Runs Until 13 April 2016

Over 400 individuals, groups or organisations have taken part in the ongoing consultation into proposed cuts to the Education Enrichment and Intervention provision. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Provision is facing proposed cuts of £500k over the next three years. For 2016/17 £158k of this has already gone through the budget setting process and been supported. The remainder will come out of years two and three subject to member approval. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The consultation runs until 13 April and is available online at http://www.yourvoicewrexham.net/KMS/DMart.aspx ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr Ron Prince, Lead Member for Youth Services and Anti Poverty, said: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
