Chemical Research Apprentice ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Local Research and Development Company ( Pharmaceutical ) based ( Tredegar )
  • 18-20 years of age.
  • Laboratory based training.
  • Training will be completed in Separation Science, High Performance Counter current Chromatography. In which the company are World Leaders.

Requirements: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Aptitude for Chemistry / Biology
  • Studying at A-Level Standard.
  • Good communication Skills.

Toolmaker ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Filtration Company ( Based Tredegar )
  • Toolmaking apprenticeship
  • Training to include : Machining Parts, Making Components from scratch, Serving Injection Moulding Tools.
  • 4 Year Opportunity.

Requirements: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • 5 GCSE’s C grade and above. Maths, English and Science.
  • Some Bench skills preferred but not essential.

CNC Mechanical Engineer ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Automotive Parts Company ( Tredegar Based )
  • CNC Machine Operators x3
  • Set machines and tooling in order to produce parts that confirm to the required quality standards.
  • Pre-setting and final adjustment to tooling.

Requirements ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Ensure that all quality, Environmental, health and safety procedures that are relevant are being adhered too.
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s C Grade and above, Maths, English and Science
  • Age 17+
‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
