Council Services Over Christmas And New Year

Blaenau Gwent Council offices in Ebbw Vale and Abertillery will be closed from 12pm on Friday 23rd December until 9am on Tuesday 3rd January. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Customer Services
C2BG (the Council’s Contact Centre) will close 12pm Friday, 23rd December and will re-open at 8am Tuesday, 3rd January. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Emergency out-of-hours service can be contacted on the usual number of 01495 311556 during this period. The Piper Alarm service will also continue to operate. Enquiries regarding Piper lifeline alarms out of office hours should be directed to 0845 056 8035. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Social Services Duty Team
The Duty Team Office will be closed from 12pm Friday, 23rd December until 9am Tuesday, 3rd January. You can contact the Emergency Duty Team for Social Services on 0800 328 44 32 ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Blaenau Gwent Register Service ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The cash desk will be open until 12.00 noon on 23rd December and re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday January 3rd 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Ebbw Vale Cable Way ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Ebbw Vale Cableway will be closed at 12:30 on 23rd December 2016 and will re-open at 08:00 on 3rd January 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
