This questionnaire forms part of the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment in Blaenau Gwent which informs the Local Authority about the sufficiency of and need for childcare in communities across Blaenau Gwent. You can have your say as a parent / carer in Blaenau Gwent and be part of the assessment by completing this survey. We are interested in hearing both from parents who currently use or intend to use childcare and from those who don’t.
Early Years Childcare and Play Team
The Early Years Childcare and Play Team work to ensure that there are high quality early years education places, childcare places and play opportunities for children and their families in Blaenau Gwent County Borough.
The Team has a statutory responsibility to assess both childcare and play sufficiency and works with local providers and services to help meet demand, minimise gaps and continually improve quality.
The Team includes the Family Information Service which keeps families informed about childcare, support services, leisure opportunities and other matters of interest.
