As part of the Tredegar Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI), a tendering opportunity has become available for the external refurbishment of 4&5 The Circle, Tredegar through their appointed representatives C2J Architects. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Information and the opportunity to register an interest is available via the Sell2Wales website until 12 o-clock mid-day Friday 13th January 2017. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Interested contractors are initially required to register an interest via the Sell2Wales website and there may be a pre-qualifying questionnaire to complete. Tendering contractors will be required to have experience in undertaking refurbishment projects on heritage buildings and/or buildings located in conservation areas. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The THI Scheme is contributing positively to the regeneration of Tredegar by ensuring high quality, traditional repair and reinstatement to eligible properties in The Circle area of the town centre. The THI renovation scheme is proposed to act as a catalyst for increased private sector investment and aims to transform the town’s attractiveness to businesses, residents and visitors, whilst enhancing long term sustainability. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The THI Scheme is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), Welsh Government-Vibrant & Viable Places Programme, Cadw & Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
