Business Excellence Categories Revealed At Awards Launch!

Thursday 5 May will see the launch of the most prestigious business awards in Bridgend County Borough, when BBC TV presenter, Sian Lloyd joins members of the local business community at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Coychurch, to officially launch the Bridgend Business Forum Awards 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Organised by Bridgend Business Forum and supported by Bridgend County Borough Council, these awards have become a much anticipated event which gives local businesses a chance to demonstrate excellence in their fields. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Ian Jessopp, Chair of Bridgend Business Forum said: “This is the fourth year the forum has organised this competition, and celebrating excellence remains at the heart of the Bridgend Business Forum Awards. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The awards have gained a reputation as the most sought-after accolade in the Bridgend business community. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Business owners and managers have to work hard to keep ahead of the competition, and the peer to peer endorsement that comes from winning one of these awards really can make the difference when it comes to securing new customers and winning new business. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Council Leader Mel Nott OBE added: “Business is the backbone to the local economy and we are committed to supporting our local enterprises in whatever way we can. There are many excellent small businesses across the county borough and it was wonderful to see so many represented and celebrated at last year’s awards.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A full list of categories and details of how to enter will be available at the launch event, along with details of the remaining sponsorship packages available. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Businesses will have until 8 July 2016 to enter the awards – all businesses based in Bridgend County Borough are eligible to enter. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
