Blackwood Beach Party Proves Popular Once Again!

Blackwood Beach Party was once again a huge success with 7,000 people flocking to Blackwood town centre to soak up the party atmosphere. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Blackwood town centre was transformed into an urban beach, where families had the chance to build sand castles, as well as taking part in other traditional seaside activities including a children’s funfair, donkey rides and Punch and Judy shows. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A host of entertainers filled the streets of the town centre getting everyone involved in the party, which included a promenade style photo booth. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Live music brought the beach party to life on Saturday 2nd July, while Blackwood Carnival paraded the high street on Sunday 3rd July. Exotic animals were also available for families to admire as well as food, craft and gift stalls lining the street for visitors to peruse. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
