Blackwood Beach Party Set To Be Bigger And Better!

Countdown to the Blackwood Beach Party has begun and this year we’re hoping to make it bigger and better! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

With even more sand and entertainment set to hit Blackwood High Street on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of July, the urban beach promises to bring fun for all the family. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The weekend is jam packed with activities, ranging from Punch and Judy Shows, live music, donkey rides, and the funfair, there is even the chance to meet some exotic animals and famous costume characters. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Live music, organised by local musicians RecRock, will take place on the Saturday and new for 2016, Blackwood Carnival will parade through the High Street to the Market Place where there will be live music and entertainment. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A variety of food, craft and gift stalls will line the streets for on lookers to admire. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Blackwood Beach Party is a free event and will open between 9am and 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
