Camelot Comes To Life At Blackwood Miners’ Institute In King Arthur
Blackwood Miners’ Institute hosts Michael Morpurgo’s King Arthur on Thursday 23rd February at 1pm and 4pm, where spectacular sword fights, a classic battle between good and evil and a moving love story will come together to create a remarkable family show.
King Arthur tells the tale of a boy rescued at sea by a mysterious man who claims to be the great King Arthur Pendragon! Through the old King’s magical storytelling – the boy and the audience are transported back to Camelot, the Knights of the Round Table, Merlin and his faithful hound, Bercelet, the Lady of the Lake and the sword in the stone.
Imaginative physical theatre, charming puppetry and outstanding storytelling combine to create this Arthurian legend.
Michael Morpurgo’s King Arthur is suitable for children aged 7 and up. Tickets cost £9.50 for adults and £7.50 for concessions.
