Celebrate Earth Hour With A Penguin Party At Parc Penallta

A Penguin Party will be held at Parc Penallta on Saturday 25th March from 6:30pm onwards to celebrate Earth Hour, where Head4Arts will be delivering free family friendly arts activities in partnership with Caerphilly CBC, the Parent Network/ Petra Project and Communities First. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Families and friends are invited to wear black and white to take part in a Penguin Parade at Parc Penallta’s car park to mark Earth Hour 2017. A number of activities will be held throughout the evening, including storytelling, music, pledges, soup and a roll and much more! Please bring along a torch to the event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Earth Hour is a global event organised by WWF where millions of people come together in order to shine a light on climate action for the planet. Schools, landmarks and other buildings throughout the world switch off their lights for an hour (8:30pm – 9:30pm) to show their commitment to addressing the global issue. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
