Now in its fifth year, the Caerphilly Food Festival continues to grow in popularly, with thousands of people expected to descend on Caerphilly town centre once again this year to sample the tasty treats, stalls and entertainment on offer. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The heat is being turned up this year, with a selection of hot foods – including a fantastic new demonstration area by Broil King BBQ Theatre. Also on offer will be a large selection of traders, filling the town centre with stalls selling their delicious treats, from homemade jams, chutneys and cakes, to fabulous fudge, smoothies and crepes… and much more besides. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Caerphilly Food Festival, which will run between 10am and 5pm, will also see a variety of craft stalls, street entertainers, funfair rides and craft workshops for children to enjoy – at an event which promises to be a fun day out for all the family. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cabinet Member Cllr Ken James said, “The Caerphilly Food Festival is a key event in the council’s summer events programme and provides a good opportunity for residents and visitors alike to come along and support local traders, sample local produce and enjoy all that Caerphilly town centre has to offer”. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The cheapest entrant will go free as part of Cadw’s two for one entry into Caerphilly Castle offer. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
