Cwmfelinfach Primary School Is ‘Excellent’
Cwmfelinfach Primary School has recently received an ‘Excellent’ Estyn Inspection due to the fantastic quality of education provided.
The school was examined on a number of factors including their current performance and prospects for improvement, both of which were graded as ‘excellent’ within the report.
The report also stated that nearly all pupils make exceptionally good progress as they move through the school and that nearly all pupils also develop and apply their literacy and numeracy skills highly effectively. Pupil’s wellbeing was also monitored during the inspection, with the report commenting that, “all pupils feel safe in school and demonstrate outstanding attitudes to learning”, as well as nearly all pupils within the school recognising the importance of healthy eating and fitness.
Mr Witchell, Head Teacher at Cwmfelinfach Primary School said: “As a school we are delighted with the outcome of the Estyn report and pleased that the hard work and commitment of all staff to provide our pupils with the best learning opportunities available has been recognised. The school would like to thank all of the pupils, parents, governors and members of the community for their commitment to this process”.
