Diary of a Madman comes to Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Thursday 14th April at 7:30pm for one night only. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The play, based on the short story by Nikolai Gogol, is set in 1930s Russia and follows the life of a low ranking civil servant named Poprishchin, who struggles to make his mark on life and spirals deeper into a fantasy world. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
