Experience The Winding House By Night!
Visitors to the Winding House in New Tredegar next Monday evening (14th November) will be in for a treat – with a fascinating talk by historian and author Professor Gareth Williams, followed by a night-time running of the museum’s magnificent Victorian winding engine.
The event, which takes place at 7pm and costs just £2 per person, will feature a talk by Professor Gareth Williams called ‘When Was Wales’ where he will consider what he regards as the most decisive year in the shaping and making of modern Wales.
Following the talk, visitors will be invited to witness the Winding House’s historic Victorian winding engine in motion and have the opportunity to talk to the volunteers who care for it.
Light refreshments are included. To book a place, please call 01443 822 666 or email us on windinghouse@caerphilly.gov.uk.
