Foster Care Information Event At Llancaiach Fawr

Newly approved and prospective foster carers are invited to a marketplace event on Tuesday 24th May at Llancaiach Fawr. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event will run from 9:30am until 2:00pm, providing newly approved foster carers and prospective carers with an overview of the services available to looked after children from Caerphilly county borough. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet staff from the fostering team and current carers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A number of representatives from various services will also give short presentations to inform interested parties of their work. Services include: Placement Process, ‘When I Am Ready’, Youth Services, Immediate Response Team, Family Information Service and the Youth Offending Team among others. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Refreshments at 9:30am and lunch will be provided during the event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
