The wait is almost over as the annual GAVO National Playday comes to Morgan Jones Park on Wednesday 3rd August from 12pm until 4pm. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This year, the FREE family fun day focuses on the theme of ‘play matters’, which looks to highlight the right of every child to play, as well as the importance of play for children, young people and adults alike. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Playday will be packed full of fun activities for the whole family including a water slide, climbing wall, street games and a foam pit as well as a variety of refreshments. There will also be a number of stands located throughout the site providing information from organisations such as GAVO, Families First, Action 4 Children and Llamau. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The event will go ahead whatever the weather so please wear appropriate clothing and bring along a spare set. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
