Half Term Fun At Llancaiach Fawr Manor

There’s a whole host of activities to take part in at Llancaiach Fawr Manor from learning about creepy crawlies to craft sessions! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

On Wednesday 1st June, a Creepy Crawlies craft event and Ugly Bug Ball will be held from 10am until 3pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Children can make their own insect antenna and dance like a ladybird at the ugly bug ball! A fantastic day out for children which costs £5 per child, with the first adult free! (Additional adults £1 each or included in their manor entry fee). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

For those who want to learn about something new during half term, come along to Llancaiach Fawr and take part in a craft workshop. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Learn Kumihimo, a traditional Japanese method of braiding threads on Thursday 2nd June from 2pm until 4:30pm and Friday 3rd June from 10:00am until 12:30pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Young visitors can learn how to make accessories for handbags, purses, keyrings and phone dust plugs!
The course is suitable for children age 10+ and costs £10 per child for the 2 and a half hour course which includes all materials and tuition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Scouts, cadets and young survival enthusiasts are invited to come along to Llancaiach Fawr to make survival bracelets on Thursday 2nd June at 10:30am until 12:30pm or Friday 3rd June from 2:00pm until 4:30pm.
Make a survival bracelet out of braided parachute cord which can be unwound in an emergency to provide cord for outdoor pursuits, holding up a bivouac or typing up a hammock! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The session is suitable for children age 10+ and costs £10 per child which includes all materials and tuition.
Children must be accompanied during the course and cannot be left on site alone. Browse the gift shop or have a coffee during the session. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
