The 5 main parks of the county are Bargoed Park, Morgan Jones Park, Sir Harold Finch Memorial Park, Waunfawr Park and Nelson Wern Woodland Park. Cllr. Nigel George, Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure Services, said, “We recognise the importance of providing safe and stimulating children’s playgrounds. We are continually looking for opportunities to improve our existing 173 playgrounds and develop new provisions where possible.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

As the seasons change the country parks are also a must visit attraction, they offer spectacular views and the opportunity to spot some unique wildlife.
