IG Doors Relocates To Oakdale

A door manufacturing company is set to relocate from their current premises in Torfaen to a new 250 acre site in Oakdale. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

IG Doors Limited will call Oakdale Business Park home once development of their state of the art production facility has reached completion. The new 25 acre site is currently undergoing the first phase of development with groundworks nearing completion and the steel building structure currently under construction. The current development is on track for completion in early 2017. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The new building will house some of the most technologically advanced machinery and production equipment on the current market which will enable the further development of skilled jobs and the enhancement of the business.
IG Doors manufacturers composite doors for a range of markets including the house building sector where they are a market leader supplying Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon Homes, Redrow Homes and many more.
Cllr Ken James, Cabinet Member for Planning, Regeneration and Sustainable Development said: “I am delighted that IG Doors Limited has chosen to relocate to Caerphilly where they can continue to expand their very successful business. They are a multi-national business and one of the leading manufacturers of doors in the UK, as well as being a major supplier as part of our own WHQS investment programme. This is one of the biggest investments in the area and will create several hundred much needed jobs”. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
