Last Chance To Book A Space For The Caerphilly Business Forum Breakfast Event
Caerphilly Business Forum has landed Cardiff Airport’s Chief Operating Officer to speak at the Caerphilly Business Forum Breakfast event on the 18th January 2017.
The Forum is gearing up to welcome Debra Barber MD as a guest speaker the first breakfast event of 2017 hosted by Llancaiach Fawr, in Nelson.
Debra Barber joined Cardiff Airport as Operations Director in May 2012 following a successful career with the Royal Air Force.
Having joined the military in 1984, she spent the first ten years working in and around RAF airfields as an Air Traffic Controller before retiring as Group Captain and Air Traffic Management Force Commander, responsible for all RAF air traffic units in the UK and around the world after 28 years’ service.
She held the position of interim Managing Director from September 2014 – December 2015, during which time the Airport saw a significant growth in passenger numbers, a new airline base, new services and successful delivery of major events plus further improvements to the terminal and airfield operations. She is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society
The event also presents an opportunity to join the Caerphilly Business Forum. The Forum is run by members of local businesses with the aim of connecting businesses with customers and suppliers, learning new skills and information relevant to your business and having an influence on local and regional government over issues that affect businesses.
The cost of the event is £12.00 for members and £15.00 for non-members and includes a breakfast roll.
