Lots to do this February half term in Caerphilly county borough
There is a lot on offer for young Caerphilly residents this February half term, with a wide range of events happening throughout the borough!
Join the warden at Cwmcarn Forest on Monday 15th February, where young bird lovers can create nesting stations to make the perfect little home for feathered friends and their chicks.

Come along to Blackwood Miners’ Institute to see the The Tap Dancing Mermaid which will be performed on Thursday 18th February.
This magical story is about a tippetty-top tap dancer who meets a mysterious boy, changing her life forever! This story is brought to life with stunning puppets, original live music and tap dancing!
Performances will be held at 11am and 2pm. Please note: the 2pm showing is a relaxed performance specifically designed to welcome those who benefit from a calmer environment including children and young people with autism, learning disabilities and sensory/communication needs and their families.
This performance is suitable for children age 3 and up. Tickets cost £3.50 for children, £4.50 for adults and £14 for a family.

Junior history buffs can visit the Winding House museum in New Tredegar throughout February half term (Monday 15th February – Friday 19th February) from 11am until 12pm to take part in a History Mysteries session.
The sessions are filled with family fun, during which there is the opportunity to make some fantastic crafts with an historical twist!
