More time to have a say on Local Development Plan
The closing date for residents and other interested parties to have their say on the council’s Deposit Replacement Local Development Plan has been extended to Friday 22 April.
A series of public exhibitions have been held across Caerphilly county borough over recent weeks, with further exhibitions scheduled for Risca Library (this week), Rhymney Library (14 and 15 March) and Bargoed Library (16 March to 19 March).
The consultation period has been extended in order to allow residents more time to offer their comments, after an Appendix of the Habitats Regulation Assessment was inadvertently missing from the online document. Given the importance of this document, it is felt important that residents should have more time to comment on the Deposit Replacement Local Development Plan and associated documents.
The closing date for comments is midnight on Friday 22 April 2016. Representations received after this date will not be considered.
To register a comment or to view all the documents online, please visit www.caerphilly.gov.uk/ldp or submit a letter in writing to The LDP Team, Strategic and Development Plans, Communities Directorate, Penallta House, Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7PG
Residents with queries on the Deposit Replacement LDP can contact the team on 01495 235 376 or via email at ldp@caerphilly.gov.uk
