Two fantastic events at Cwmcarn Forest will give visitors the chance to get up close to moths that call the forest home on Friday 10th June and Saturday 11th June.
Gather around a light trap on Friday 10th June at 10:00pm and investigate the types of moths which inhabit the forest at night.
Tickets cost £2.50 per adult and £1.50 per child. The event is suitable for all ages.
For those who prefer early mornings, come along to Cwmcarn Forest on Saturday 11th June for the National Moth Count Breakfast at 8:30am.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the types of moths that have been caught in humane moth traps overnight (no moths will be harmed). The findings will be recorded and sent to Moth Count to form part of the national statistics.
After the counting has been completed, enjoy a bacon/sausage bap and a cup of tea.
Booking is advisable for this event. Tickets cost £6.00 for adults and £4.50 for children. This event is suitable for children age 6+
