National Playday Visits Morgan Jones Park

National Playday is coming to Morgan Jones Park in Caerphilly on Wednesday 3rd August. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO) is pleased to be working with Flying Start, Families First, Communities First and Supporting People for this year’s event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

So why not pack a picnic and come and enjoy a free family fun day from 12pm to 4pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The theme this year is Play Matters, which looks to highlight the right every child has to play and the importance of play for children, young people and adults alike. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

It is advised you bring spare clothing in case of inclement weather and for the chance to have a go on the waterslide! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
