Sport Caerphilly Get Active With Children This Summer!
With just over two week left of the holidays, Sport Caerphilly’s sport schemes still have spaces left for your children to join this summer.
Currently, three Leisure Centres within the borough deliver the schemes, Caerphilly, Heolddu and Newbridge.
Children have the opportunity to participate in a range of team and individual sports such as football, tennis, dodgeball, badminton and swimming. With the Olympics taking centre stage themed days have also been held to celebrate the event in Rio.
They have proved to be so popular numbers have hit over 60 participants across some sites and we hope to continue this popularity up until the end of the summer, Friday 26 August.
There are still places available for the last two weeks before school starts. The Monday to Friday schemes at Caerphilly and Newbridge Leisure Centres run from 9am until 3pm and cost £8 per child and at Heolddu, 10am until 2pm, costing £5 per child.
To book a place, please contact your local Leisure Centre.
Sport Caerphilly will be running these sports schemes during half terms for the remainder of 2016 and continuing them into the Easter and summer holidays of 2017.
