Staff from Enzyme Services & Consultancy recently spent a day volunteering with Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Countryside Service at Parc Penallta. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Enzyme Services & Consultancy are based at the Innovation & Technology Centre, Tredomen Park and wanted to give something to the local community. The staff were happy to swap their lab coats and pipettes for saws and loppers as volunteers worked to help clear overgrown footpaths and remove worn-out fencing. The hard working volunteers were happy to contribute to its maintenance for the benefit of both wildlife and the local community. The weather may have been a little wet, but that made the cup of tea at the end all the more appreciated! ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cllr. Ken James, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Planning & Sustainable Development said: “I would like to thank the staff of Enzyme services and consultancy who so kindly gave up their time to help maintain and improve Parc Penallta. Our country parks are important parts of our natural environment and are loved by many residents, I am sure that their efforts will be much appreciated.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
