‘Stute Comedy Nights Are Back!

Comedy Nights are back at Blackwood Miners’ Institute after a short summer break, with the first show on Friday 2nd September at 8pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

February’s top line-up will include Milo McCabe in character as Troy Hawke, who has made appearances on Mad in Ibiza (ITV2), Live at the Electric (BBC Three) and Benidorm (ITV1). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The sensational Angela Barnes whom Sarah Millican has described as “brilliantly funny” will also perform. She has made television appearances on Stand Up For the Week – Channel 4/Open Mike, Mock the Week – BBC2/Angst Productions, Russell Howard’s Good News – BBC3. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The MC for the evening is ‘Stute Comedy Night favourite, the very funny James Cook. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Every month, a great value night of stand-up featuring three top comedians currently touring the UK circuit is hosted in the ‘Stute bar for an evening of eye watering comedy for anyone aged 16 or over. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Tickets for the event costs £11 if paid before the night, or £12 if paid on the door. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
