The Flying Bedroom Comes To Blackwood Miners’ Institute

The stage adaptation of Heather Dyer’s children’s book The Flying Bedroom will be landing at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Monday 20th February. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

This magical family show tells the tale of Elinor and her extraordinary bedroom which comes to life when she sleeps! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Join Elinor and her bedroom on an adventure to far-off lands, under the sea and into outer space as she discovers new friends, battles pirates and meets hapless astronauts. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Flying Bedroom will visit Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Monday 20th February at 1pm, with a relaxed performance at 3:30pm. The relaxed performance is specifically designed for children and young people with autism, learning disabilities and sensory and communication disorders and their families. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The show is suitable for children age 4 to 7. Tickets cost £5 / £4 for children and £16 for a family of four, which includes a post-show workshop. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
