The River Of Light Returns To Caerphilly
Come along to the River of Light lantern parade, which takes place on Thursday 22nd December at 6:30pm in Caerphilly town centre.
Lanterns have been made in workshops held over the past month, where around 500 keen participants attended. Following on from these workshops, it’s now time for the River of Light Parade to light up the town of Caerphilly.
The parade will begin at Caerphilly railway station’s park and ride and then make its descent down to Caerphilly town, lighting up Station Terrace, Cardiff Road and St Fagans Street on its way to the finale on Crescent Road. The parade will finish with a beautiful fireworks display over Caerphilly Castle.
The parade is free and everyone is welcome to come and share a magical evening, while admiring the wonderful lanterns that will be on display!
