Velothon ‘Drop In’ Session For Maesycwmmer Residents

Residents living in Maesycwmmer will get the chance to find out more about the road closures affecting the village later this month when the Velothon cycling event passes through. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Velothon Wales is a mass participation cycle event taking place on Sunday 22nd May. Up to 18,000 riders will take part and negotiate a 140km route on completely closed roads across South Wales. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Access for residents in and around Maesycwmmer will be affected by the road closures on the day, so organisers will be on hand to explain the arrangements on Sunday 8th May between 11.00am and 2.00pm at Maesycwmmer Community centre. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
