‘You’ve Got A Friend’ At Blackwood Miners’ Institute

Celebrate two of the World’s greatest songwriters – James Taylor and Carole King when ‘You’ve Got A Friend’ comes to Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Thursday 30 March at 7.30pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

‘You’ve Got a Friend’ is a heart-warming story intertwined with the music that shaped a generation. Featuring classic hits such as ‘I Feel The Earth Move’, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’, ‘How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)’, ‘Fire & Rain’, ‘You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman), ‘Sweet Baby James’, and of course the beautiful ‘You’ve Got A Friend’. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The cast includes seasoned, West End performer Kyla Brown as Carole King, Bill Lennon as James Taylor, and also features a full cast of talented actor-musicians who help narrate the show. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
